Conor McGregor’s exceptional boxing skills in the UFC have garnered him immense acclaim, with his precise hand placement drawing widespread admiration. Remarkably, this talent extends beyond the confines of the octagon and transcends traditional fight scenarios.
‘The Notorious’ was one of many celebrity faces in attendance for Katie Taylor’s decision defeat to Chantelle Cameron on Saturday, bring an end to her undefeated boxing record. And fellow fighter Ebanie Bridges was also among the major names at Dublin’s 3Arena as she cheered ‘Il Capo’ to victory.
Two-weight world champion Cameron was the star of the show as she successfully defended her light-welterweight titles against home favourite Taylor. But that didn’t stop fans from being distracted by Bridges’ bodacious display in a low-cut dress ringside.
The ‘Blonde Bomber’ didn’t pass up her chance at a photo with mixed martial arts royalty and posed alongside McGregor in a series of social media posts. As if the legions of fight fans didn’t have enough reason to envy the Irishman, supporters streamed in to remind the 34-year-old how lucky he was to stand in Bridges’ grace.
“Ringside with the one and only @thenotoriousMMA,” wrote Bridges in an Instagram post adorned with a shamrock and heart-eye emojis.
And while McGregor saved his right hand free for posing – clenching it into a fist for one straight-faced snap – fans couldn’t help but smirk at the positioning of his favoured left hand. The southpaw kept his left arm clutched around Bridges’ shoulders with a hand left dangling suspiciously close to the Australian’s chest.

“Look at where Conor kept his hand,” laughed one spectator, who suggested the UFC’s first dual-weight champion knew full well what he was doing. “That left hand is too close,” joked another.
“Smart man keeping his hand closed,” commented another. Fans were also quick to suggest McGregor’s long-term partner, Dee Devlin, may not be happy with the picture as one remarked: “Just imagine if the show was on the other foot.”
McGregor had his defendants in the replies, however, as some insisted the wandering mitt was innocent. It was even suggested the pic was merely a chance for him to show off his watch, a Weir & Sons Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph 5905P, believed to cost in the region of £85,000.
Bridges also uploaded videos of herself getting ready for fight night, giving fans a sneak peek of the chest-baring dress she’d be wearing to the 3Arena. The 9-1 boxer was dubbed ‘goddess,’ ‘beautiful’ and ‘absolutely stunning’ in her latest fit, which certainly maximised her ‘famous twins’ to their absolute limit.
As for McGregor, a return to the Octagon appears within sight after the Crumlin native confirmed he’s back in USADA’s drug-testing pool. He’s set to coach opposite lightweight Michael Chandler in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter, with a showdown between the duo expected to crown the finale.
