Evidently proud as punch to be with his little ones, the Saving Private Ryan star crouched down, hoisted Hania on to his knee and threw an arm around Vincent as the trio beamed for the cameras.
Hania – already an orange belt at judo – clearly shares her dad’s playful sense of humour and joined him in pretending to throw punches at the glitzy Hollywood event. Vin looked every inch the star in a black t-shirt, smart blazer and artfully distressed jeans, completing his look with a pair of aviator shades. Hania was beautiful in a pretty white frock, baby pink coat and nude sandals.
The adorable youngster’s locks were teased into cute curls and she pinned a red rose to her lapel. Vincent was dapper in a baby blue tuxedo and crisp white shirt with polished black brogues. Diesel and his partner, Mexican model Paloma Jimenez, are parents to Hania and Vincent as well as daughter Pauline, two, who was named in honour of Vin’s friend and Fast And Furious co-star Paul Walker who died in a car crash in 2013.
The star opened up about the naming of his daughter to E! News. He said: ‘When I was in the delivery room, I felt like Paul was there. There’s no other person that I was thinking about as I was cutting this umbilical cord. ‘It felt like a way to keep his memory as a part of my family and a part of my world.’
Vin also provided an insight into his parenting style, saying that his daughter Hania, at the time six, was already taking martial arts classes so he wouldn’t need to worry about ‘future boyfriends’.
‘Oh I won’t have to say anything,’ he declared. ‘My daughter is an orange belt in Judo and Jiu Jitsu already so my philosophy is you teach them to handle their own.’
