In a touching moment filled with pure innocence, a young child experienced her first meeting with her newborn cousin and showered her with a cascade of kisses, albeit in a slightly clumsy manner. Shortly after baby Remington’s birth, eight-month-old Olivia arrived for a visit.

Initially unsure, Olivia’s mother, Megan Kashner, encouraged her, and with a surge of courage, Olivia leaned in to give her cousin a heartfelt kiss. It was a heartwarming scene that showcased the boundless affection between family members, leaving everyone touched by the pure love displayed by the young child.

The adorable baby, brimming with excitement, eagerly met her newborn cousin, Remington. Despite her initial hesitation, Olivia continued to shower Remington with love, albeit in a slightly clumsy manner. Even when Remington was carefully moved away to prevent any harm caused by Olivia’s exuberance, the determined toddler persistently leaned forward to plant a kiss on her cousin’s head.

Megan, who captured this heartwarming moment last Tuesday (June 21) at a hospital in the US, expressed, “It was so hilarious and cute. I can’t watch the video without laughing or smiling. At first, Olivia seemed a bit shy towards Remington. She simply stared at her and then looked back at me.” Although some of Olivia’s kisses may have been clumsy, her excitement and affection for her cousin were clearly evident. Remington appeared unfazed and unbothered by Olivia’s proximity.

Megan continued, “Remington didn’t seem to mind being right next to her older cousin. Olivia leaned in hesitantly and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Then, she slowly sat back up and looked at me, seeking reassurance. Once I acknowledged her expression of love towards her cousin, she realized it was acceptable and became even more thrilled to continue showering her cousin with kisses.”
